ABOUT VSC
The mission of the Verdigris Soccer Club is to develop players who are capable of making a real contribution in a team environment, throughout their lives, regardless of gender, physical abilities or background, through instruction of the technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of soccer. It is our hope that a large proportion of these individuals will pursue the sport through their teen age years and on into adult life.
The Verdigris Soccer Club supports youth soccer in the Verdigris and Claremore area with boys, girls, and co-ed programs for ages 4 and up.
Interested in becoming a Referee?
The Verdigris Soccer Club is always looking for quality individuals to take up officiating. VSC pays referees based on age level of the games. If you are interested in becoming a referee or want more information, please contact verdigrissoccerclub@gmail.com for more information on the nuts and bolts of becoming a referee and how it all works.
The Oklahoma Soccer Association is responsible for all referee training, instruction and development. Go to http://www.oksoccer.com/referees/referees.aspx to register for a class. If you are new to this, you will want to look up classes. This is a recreational referee class and is the first step into your officiating career. The class costs $75 dollars, but is completely refundable after the class is successfully passed.
